Despina is a copywriter based in Athens, originally from Chios, and presumably from Ismailia - although she looks like she's from none of these. At Ogilvy Greece, Another Circus Creative Agency, and now McCANN Athens, Despina has worked on a variety of brands, none of which went out of business as a result. She's actually won a few things such as the Canne's Greek Young Lions, EACA's Inspire competition, and Plaisio's new year lottery (she got a microwave).
Outside of work, Despina enjoys equally reading, performing, and underperforming. She has a long background in classical dance, which has since evolved into various forms of swing dancing - or at least it's trying to. Her favorite 2024 read was James Baldwin's Giovanni's Room.
